To all studio members, clients, and visitors of the studio location in Newmarket:
Here is some information about what you can expect when attending an "In-Person" yoga class at the studio.
RSVP for each class according to the specific RSVP timeline set for each class; the RSVP can be done by text at 416-994-7367, email email@example.com, or please use the contact form here. The RSVP timelines are shown on the yoga class schedule.
Please arrive at least 10 min before class. No late arrivals will be allowed in once the class starts and the front door is locked.
Bring your own mat and props to class as per your needs (re. a firm pillow/bolster, a blanket, a belt/strap/long scarf, blocks). Currently, the studio is providing blocks and straps but you are welcome to bring your own if that is your preference.
Wearing a mask is optional when entering the studio and when walking around and while on/off your mat; hand sanitizer is available at the entrance.
To avoid "bottlenecks" and delays before and after class, I kindly ask that you please prepay for your classes here.
If you have any potential COVID19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with someone who has COVID19, please be respectful of others’ health and refrain from attending class in person.
You will find clean and clutter-free surfaces: the floor, washroom, and commonly-touched areas will be cleaned and/or disinfected for each class.
You will sign-in with a clean and disinfected pen, your name will already be printed due to your RSVP.
If you use the washroom, you will be asked to wipe down the surfaces you touched with a cleaning spray.
There will be a maximum of 10 yoga class attendees and a minimum of 2 attendees per class as we are still limiting the total number of participants.
If you are the only person who has RSVP'd by the deadline, the class will be cancelled and I will contact you an hour or so before class. If you wish, you may request a previously recorded class video, join an upcoming live-streaming class, or choose to RSVP later for another in-person class.
If you wish to cancel your RSVP for a class, please do so before the RSVP deadline to avoid being charged for the class; if you "un-RSVP" after the RSVP deadline, the class will be removed from your package or you will be charged for the class and you will be sent a previously recorded class video.
Pranayama/breathing exercises during class will be simplified, made softer, or replaced with mindfulness of breath; pranayama that involves blowing out forcefully through the mouth will be avoided entirely.
Doors will be left open during class and the HVAC system will be on for proper air flow.
It is my intention to do everything I can to keep everyone safe at the studio even if current COVID19 restrictions have been lifted.
I look forward to connecting with you, whether via live stream, class videos or in-person! Namaste, Suniti xo
