Usui Reiki Level 1 / Reiki for Self-Care Training

At Heart Journey, the styles of Reiki taught by Daniele Hart are Usui, Tibetan, Karuna, and Komyo. Daniele is a Reiki Master in these styles, and was taught by Reiki Masters Denise Crundall (Australia), William Lee Rand (Michigan), and Teresa Canoza (Toronto). The focus of the classes is on teaching both Western (Hawayo Takata and more modern techniques), as well as the traditional Usui Japanese approaches to doing reiki, with an emphasis on providing the most up to date information available about reiki so that students can decide for themselves how they want to practice. Students from different lineages are always welcome.

Usui Reiki Level 1 is a class designed for those who wish to become Certified Reiki 1 Practitioners. The class can be taught as a one-day training at the end of which you will obtain your certificate or in two half days, please see below for details. This class can be useful for people who wish to use Reiki for self-care and to help family and friends; it also includes all the training required to start doing Reiki professionally with clients. This level of training can also be a great asset for massage therapists who wish to combine reiki with their massage services, and for yoga teachers who wish to enhance their students' savasana, and their restorative and yin yoga classes.

Training is generally broken down into two parts. Participants can choose to only take reiki for self-care training if that is their preference:

1) Reiki for Self-Care Training $135 + hst (early bird) or $145 + hst (reg) - Generally taught over two days (4.5 hours in total), includes audio recordings of 6 self-reiki practices, extensive binder, and certificate;

2) Reiki Level 1 Practitioner Training $145 + hst (early bird) or $155 + hst (reg) - Generally taught over two days (6 hours in total), includes a manual, handouts, and certificate. The pre-requisite for this class is Reiki for Self-Care Training.
