Enhancing Body Vitality With Breath & Yoga
In this series, we will activate energetic currents that naturally move through parts of the body to support various functions. These natural energies are known in the yoga world as vayus, they connect the physical body to the energy body. They help circulate vibrant life force energy through the elimination and digestive systems, as well as in the heart, throat, and cervical spine (neck). They also send expansive and centering energies into the limbs, head, and torso to increase vitality and connection with self and life, enhancing our mood in the wintery season!

In this series, we will learn about the internal and external vayus and experience various ways to activate them with breathing practices, yoga postures, hand mudras, and guided meditation. The combined practices in each class will allow a clear and sustained activation of these inner currents and enhance their energetic and physical effects. Handouts will be provided, as well as recorded meditations and breathing practices.
BONUS: All classes will be recorded as well, so if you miss a class, you won’t miss a thing! Recordings will remain available until end of April 2025. This series is offered in person at the studio. If the timing of the class does not work for you, you may register using the “Virtual Only” option, and receive all the class recordings and handouts. You can then do the series at the time that is convenient for you.
