Gentle Yoga for Stress & Anxiety
Stress and anxiety are emotions that are a normal part of daily living, they can fluctuate from mild to debilitating. They can arise during positive and exciting times like the planning of a wedding or buying and moving to a new home, or as we go through various life challenges. All emotions have a positive role to play, and this yoga class series will help you befriend, manage, and reframe stress and anxiety in ways that will support you.

In this series, you will explore various yogic practices that will support you in creating better ways to manage any stress and anxiety that you may be going through at this time. Practices will include gentle yoga poses, breathing techniques, yoga nidra meditation, mindfulness, restorative yoga, and personal reflection, and more!
BONUS: All classes will be recorded as well, so if you miss a class, you won’t miss a thing! Recordings will remain available until end of April 2025. This series is offered in person at the studio. If the timing of the class does not work for you, you may register using the “Virtual Only” option, and receive all the class recordings and handouts. You can then do the series at the time that is convenient for you.

- Redefining stress, fear, and anxiety in constructive ways;
- Understanding how your “story of identity” contributes to your feelings of stress and anxiety, and consciously creating a new story for yourself;
- The importance of living in the moment and applying soothing and calming practices;
- Discovering your mantra and using an ancient yogic practice to balance anxiety and stress;
- Breathing exercises to manage anxiety and stress more effectively;
- Gentle yogic stretches and restorative postures to help relax the mind and the body;
- Specially created yoga nidra meditations to bring deeper calmness and relaxation;
- Handouts featuring weekly teachings, additional practices and deeper explorations for in-between classes.
