Intro to Yoga 8-Week Series Early Bird
This course is for students who have never touched a yoga mat or for those who have attended less than 10 classes. Along with studying introductory poses (asana) and sequences, we will look at the history and philosophy of yoga along with the foundational principles of pranayama (breath work). Movement and asana will be taught in a safe and constructive environment while drawing attention to alignment as a gateway to build strength and flexibility. This series is not suitable for people with various injuries or chronic pain. If this is the case, please contact the studio and other classes/services will be recommended.
