There are many reasons that may inspire you to train as a yoga teacher:
You want to do it for yourself, to deepen your own personal practice of yoga, and create a lasting shift in your life;
You have a desire to help others experience what you have felt during yoga class;
You've known in your heart of hearts that you're meant to teach yoga, it's a calling;
You want personal growth and a deeper connection with yourself;
You wish to do your part in creating a better world;
Or something else may be motivating you...
One thing for sure is that yoga teacher training is life changing simply because of the teachings and the practices that you will engage in throughout the training. You will have an opportunity to reflect deeply on the teachings and apply them for yourself on your mat, in your life, and when you teach yoga. In yoga, there's a saying that goes 'you can only teach what you've experienced'.
For me personally, the practice of yoga and becoming a yoga teacher has helped me find safety and grounding in my own body which was impossible before due to past trauma. Yoga has made me recognize that I am so much more than a person with a body, a mind, and emotions, it has shown me that there is an infinite presence that lives within me that is filled with peace, joy, love, and abundance. Training as a yoga teacher opened my heart fully and helped me release long-held patterns of tension and fear that were tucked away in the recesses of my body, heart, and soul. And I'm just scratching the surface of how much of an impact yoga has had on me. After 14 years of teaching yoga, it remains the biggest passion in my life!
As a lead trainer, my goal is to empower you to embrace the yogic teachings so that you may embody them on and off the mat, and to support you in teaching the style of yoga that you wish to teach, if teaching yoga is what you want to do. This program will support you in finding yourself and your voice as a yoga enthusiast who wants to create a better world! So if this resonates with you, I invite you to tie your seat belt, hold onto your hat, and get ready for the ride! It's going to be great!

Graduates wish to share a specific message to future enrollees in this program:
“My biggest message would be to enjoy the course, even the parts that they are unfamiliar with. When their confidence feels shaky or they are unsure of themselves, they have to remain present and have faith in themselves. Also, teaching to each other is always done in a safe space and everyone is nervous and unsure. Eventually they will find their groove and everything will just “click”, it’s a magic moment.” Jennifer Kleinberg
"I don’t ever remember a time when I loved learning so much! It was so wonderful to learn with like minded people, who just want to better themselves and help others.The teacher training at Heart Journey has helped me grow in so many ways. Daniele provided us with all of the tools we need to become confident and wise yoga teachers. I can’t wait to begin my teaching journey with friends, family and different groups in my community.” Lynda Robertson-Goudy
“Our program was enhanced because of your spirituality, knowledge, and experience, as well as the information you shared from your therapeutic yoga course. The impact of the other Limbs of Yoga (not just the asanas) is what made the course so impactful and that is also where you shine and what we benefitted from." Debbie Stevens

Refund and Attendance Policies
Refund Policy If the applicant cancels thirty (30) days or more before the start of the program, the applicant will forfeit $95 of the amount paid and the remaining balance paid will be refunded.
If the applicant cancels 14-30 days before the start of the program, the applicant will forfeit $150 of the amount paid and the remaining balance paid will be refunded. The program requires a minimum number of participants in order to run, therefore cancelling within 14-30 days of the program start date may impact other participants and the viability of the program, hence the larger cancellation fee.
The program tuition fees are non-refundable. However, if a student must withdraw from the program for special circumstances such as illness, injury, or death in the family, the program director will provide a refund for the portion of the program tuition that was not completed. A copy of the death certificate or a medical note will be required to process the refund.
Other than these special circumstances, the program director will not give any refunds or credits after the training starts. The program director reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins. In that case any payments applicants have made will be refunded in full.
Attendance Policy Students are encouraged to have 100% attendance. However, we understand that students may have important commitments outside of the classroom and unexpected circumstances may arise. Should extenuating circumstances impact attendance, students are permitted to miss class, provided they work with the program director to make up missed hours.
If a student needs to miss any training session, he or she must speak to the program director before the beginning of the session. If private sessions with the lead trainer are needed for some of the missed hours, additional rates will apply. Missing more than 8 hours of the training may result in delayed graduation due to missed practicum and partner activities.
